Taking Excellence to the Highest Level

NextMed is the only company in the United States to have been awarded a certification as a Comprehensive Lithotripsy Program. This is the highest level of accreditation awarded by the Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program (HFAP). No other competitor in our industry has come close to reaching this standard, which is why both HFAP and The Joint Commission partnered with us to establish their accreditation standards.

HFAP is a federally authorized accreditation firm with rigorous standards for its participating members and with more than 75 years accrediting healthcare providers.

The Joint Commission is one of the nation’s preeminent standards-setting and accrediting body in health care.

How We Measure Ourselves

NextMed is proud to consistently rank topmost in excellence in the industry, earning HFAP’s “Comprehensive” certification demonstrating Innovative Infrastructure. The other levels are Advanced and Ready, and there are no other mobile lithotripsy providers which have anything above a Ready Certification demonstrating a basic infrastructure.

At NextMed, we believe there is never a good reason to lower our standards. To ensure our patients are always getting the best, we hold ourselves to HFAP’s most demanding benchmarks and will continue to do so.

NextMed is proud of its history of accreditation. We have been continuously accredited for at least 8 years. 3 years with The Joint Commission and the last 5 years with HFAP.
